Every job is a

Sec.04 — Procedure

Six steps. No shortcuts.

The same sequence on every job, from a one-room basement to an occupied commercial floor.

  1. Assess

A site visit. We identify suspect materials, coordinate sampling where it's needed, and define the scope.

    • Visual survey
    • Bulk sampling
    • Scope sheet
  2. Plan

A written scope, a schedule, and the notifications or permits the job requires, all before anyone picks up a tool.

    • Written scope
    • Schedule
    • Permits & notices
  3. Contain

The work area is isolated with poly sheeting and negative air. Occupants and the rest of the building stay protected.

    • Poly isolation
    • Negative air
    • Decon unit
  4. Remove

Trained crews abate or remediate using wet methods and HEPA equipment. Waste is sealed and labeled as it leaves.

    • Wet methods
    • HEPA equipment
    • Sealed waste
  5. Clear

Final cleaning, then air clearance testing. The containment comes down only after the numbers pass.

    • Fine cleaning
    • Air sampling
    • Visual inspection
  6. Document

Disposal records, air results and closeout paperwork: everything you need for your file, a buyer or the inspector.

    • Waste manifests
    • Clearance reports
    • Closeout package
